Horse racing wagering site and cable network TVG is launching a promotional campaign that will send one viewer and a guest on a VIP trip to the Melbourne Cup in Australia. The campaign, called the "Melbourne Cup Sweepstakes," runs from Friday, September 19 to Sunday, September 28. 

The contest can be entered by submitting a postcard or by making a wager on any Australian horse race using TVG's online betting site. The drawing, which takes place on September 30, will send the winner on a trip for two to Melbourne with hotel accomodations, VIP tickets to the race, and a variety of other amenities and excursions. The trip takes place October 29 — November 4. 

"TVG is thrilled to offer one lucky customer and guest a trip of a lifetime to experience all of the pageantry and excitement of the Melbourne Cup," said Bhavesh Patel, TVG's senior vice president of Television Operations and Marketing, in a release.
