Byron Allen’s Entertainment Studios/Allen Media has promoted Matt Anderson to vice president of distribution for Entertainment Studios and Weather Group, which includes The Weather Channel.

Anderson, formerly director of distribution for the Weather Group, will now be responsible for distribution efforts of the integrated Entertainment Studios Networks and Weather Group, said the company. Oversight for his accounts will include affiliate network distribution, carriage negotiation, sales management, marketing, local ad sales, public affairs, and strategic client app development for the integrated portfolio of weather, court, and lifestyle networks.
