CBS airs the holiday special Mariah Carey: Merry Christmas to All! Tuesday, December 20. The two-hour concert special is filmed at Madison Square Garden. Carey will perform a repertoire of holiday hits, including, of course, “All I Want for Christmas Is You.”

Paramount Plus will stream the event. MTV will air it after the premiere.  

Carey had holiday specials on Apple TV Plus for the last couple of years.

Carey is the best-selling female artist of all time, according to CBS, with more than 200 million albums sold.

Merry Christmas to All! is a co-production of Sony Music Entertainment and Supply & Demand. Carey, Joseph Kahn, Charleen Manca and Nicola Doring are executive producers. Sony Music Entertainment is distributing the special. ■

Hallmark Channel has teamed with Grammy Award-winning recording artist Mariah Carey to produce three original films, the network said Monday.

Carey, who will star in an eight-part E! reality series, will develop, executive produce, direct and co-star in the films, as well as compose and produce and original song for each project, said network officials. The first will launch during Hallmark’s 2017 Countdown to Valentine’s Day programming event.

Hallmark first announced the deal during its Winter TCA Press Tour event in January.

Carey last December directed and co-starred in Hallmark’s original film A Christmas Melody. In addition, Carey also hosted the most watched holiday special in Hallmark Channel history, Mariah Carey’s Merriest Christmas. Hallmark Channel also sponsored her recent sold-out Christmas concerts last December at New York City’s Beacon Theater.

“We are honored to continue our collaboration with the multi-talented Mariah Carey,” Michelle Vicary, executive vice president of programming, Crown Media Family Networks, said in a statement. “It’s rare to work with a talent who can produce, direct, star and also compose original music for a project, and we know she will deliver for our viewers once again.”

Pasadena, Calif. -- Hallmark Channel will tap actress/singer Mariah Carey and actress Jennifer Love Hewitt to direct and executively produce three original movies each, network officials said Friday during the Television Critics Tour.

The network also said it has greenlit a new original series Darrow & Darrow, starring Kimberly Williams Paisley and executively produced by Boston Legal’s Phoef Sutton.

In addition, actress Kristin Davis will executive produce and star in the Hallmark Channel original movie, Wild At Heart, which will be shot on location in Kenya and will be based on Davis’ own philanthropic efforts to stop poaching and rescue the orphans of slain elephants, said network officials.

Cedar Cove star Andie MacDowell will also star and executive produce The Beach House, an original movie based on Mary Alice Monroe’s beloved novel which explores the fragile yet enduring bond between mothers and daughters, said network officials.
