                                <p><a href="https://www.nexttv.com/news/abc-shares-summer-premiere-plans"><em>Emergency Call</em>, an unscripted series about the people who receive 911 phone calls, has its season premiere</a> June 4 on <a href="https://www.nexttv.com/tag/abc">ABC</a>. Luke Wilson hosts. </p><p>Call takers from Austin; New Orleans; Ogden, Utah; Wasilla, Alaska; and Waukesha, Wisconsin are featured. </p><p><em>Emergency Call</em> “documents the first few crucial minutes of emergencies told through the lens of America’s heroic 911 call takers,” in ABC’s words. “The series follows the dramatic moments leading up to the arrival of help rather than the events after the firefighters, police or emergency medical services teams arrive, and focuses on the extreme, suspenseful and sometimes humorous stories that flood 911 call centers.”</p><p><em>Emergency Call</em> is executive produced by Adeline Ramage Rooney and Jonny Slow, Grant Kahler and Luke Wilson. Kahler is the showrunner. The show is produced by 8HOURS Television, based on an original format by De Chinezen.</p><p><a href="https://www.nexttv.com/news/luke-wilson-hosts-unscripted-911-series-emergency-call-on-abc">The series premiere was last fall</a>. Wilson described 911 responders to <em>B+C</em> as “regular people who do extraordinary things.”</p><p>Wilson’s films include <em>Old School</em>, <em>Bottle Rocket </em>and <em>My Super Ex-Girlfriend</em>.                                 <p>Luke Wilson and Imogen Poot were cast in the lead roles for Showtime’s one-hour comedy pilot <em>Roadies</em>.</p><p>The project follows the day-to-day life of a crew managing, setting up a successful rock tour.</p><p>Wilson (O<em>ld School</em>, T<em>he Royal Tenebaums</em>) portrays road-weary, sleep-deprived tour manager Bill, who is five years sober. Poot (<em>The Look of Love</em>) plays Kelly Ann, a first-rate tech, who has questionable people skills as she tries to make her mark on the world.   </p><p>Also in the ensemble cast:  Academy Award nominee Keisha Castle-Hughes (<em>Whale Ride</em>r) is the outspoken and passionate sound mixer “Donna Mancini,” who every day leads her road family in their favorite ritual, “The Song of the Day.” Rafe Spall (<em>One Day</em>) is on board as Reg Whitehead, a successful British financial advisor sent by management to oversee the crew's budget, though he knows less than zero about the music business. Peter Cambor  (NCIS: Los Angeles) is Milo, an offbeat American anglophile guitar tech, not big on personal hygiene, who revels in his road-worthy, skuzzy charm.</p><p><em>Roadies</em> is produced by Bad Robot Productions, Vinyl Films and Dooley & Company Productions, in association with Warner Bros. Television.</p><p>The shooting schedule was not revealed.</p>
