WE tv has acquired two original reality series from subscription streaming service Zeus Network.

The network will air the first season of millennial-targeted Zeus’ 13-episode series The Real Blac Chyna, which follows the life of entrepreneur, model and reality star Blac Chyna, as well as Joseline’s Cabaret, which follows Love & Hip Hop Atlanta star Joseline Hernandez as she creates a sensual cabaret in her hometown of Miami, said the network. 

The deal marks the first time that both series will air on linear tv since their premiere on Zeus.

“WE tv is focused on telling real stories about real people and real relationships, which makes the addition of ‘The Real Blac Chyna’ an obvious fit for our network,” said Lauren Gellert, executive vice president of Development and original programming for WE tv in a statement. “We’re thrilled to partner with Zeus and bring Blac Chyna’s and Joseline’s compelling, larger-than-life stories to our audiences for the first time ever on linear tv.” 

Added Zeus founder and CEO Lemuel Plummer: “Both shows were critical hits when they premiered on the Zeus network and have had tremendous success with our audience. We’re thrilled to license these compelling properties to WE tv. We are confident this partnership will bring new audiences to our networks.”

VH1 will expand its Love & Hip Hop franchise to Wednesday nights with the Jan. 2 sophomore season premiere of Love & Hip Hop Miami, the network said Wednesday.

The fourth installment of the Love & Hip Hop franchise – following Love & Hip Hop: New York,Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta and Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood – was VH1’s highest rated reality series launch since 2014 when it premiered on New Year’s Day 2018, according to the network. 

Last night’s WWE Monday Night Raw episode on USA Network drew nearly 3 million social media interactions, said Nielsen.

The show averaged 2.8 million Facebook, Instagram and Twitter interactions to top all television shows on Monday, according to Nielsen's daily Social Content Ratings report.

ABC’s American Idol finished second with 739,000 interactions, followed NBC’s The Voice, Fox’s Lucifer and VH1’s Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta.

TNT drew more than 1 million interactions for its Miami Heat-Philadelphia 76ers (1.7 million interactions) and its San Antonio Spurs-Golden State Warriors (1.4 million) NBA Playoffs telecasts, besting all live TV sports telecasts, according to Nielsen. 

Last night’s USA Network WWE Monday Night Raw episode pinned down some impressive social media numbers, according to Nielsen.

The live, three-hour show generated 2.03 million combinned Facebook, Instagram and Twitter interactions, topping all entertainment-based shows airing on March 19, according to Nielsen’s Social Content Ratings Daily report. 

ABC’s reboot of American Idol finished a distant second, followed by VH1’s Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta, NBC’s The Voice and VH1’s Love & Hip Hop Miami.

ESPN’s live coverage of last night’s Cleveland Cavaliers-Milwaukee Bucks NBA game drew 2.6 million social media interactions to lead all sports programming, said Nielsen.

VH1’s music-themed shows struck a chord with Twitter users last night.

The network’s Hip Hop Honors: All Hail The Queens music special was the most tweeted entertainment show of the day, generating 484,000 tweets, according to Nielsen’s daily Twitter TV ratings report. VH1’s Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta finished second with 146,000 tweets, according to Nielsen.

USA’s WWE Monday Night Raw, ABC’s The Bachelorette and Freeform’s The Fosters rounded out the top five most tweeted shows for the day.

ESPN’s 2016 T-Mobile Home Run Derby telecast was the most social live sports event of the day, garnering 306,000 tweets, according to Nielsen.

VH1’s Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta finished its fourth season Monday night with 3.3 million viewers, the network said Wednesday.

The reality series, produced by Monami Entertainment, also finished as cable’s most watched reality series among adults 18-49 and women 18-49 both among Nielsen’s Live + Same day and Live +3 metrics, said network officials.

Vh1 will premiere a two-part Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta reunion special Aug. 24, said network officials.
