                                <p>Time Warner Cable will launch a local news channel, serving the San Antonio DMA, next week.</p><p>Time Warner Cable News San Antonio will bow on June 2 at 5 a.m. (CT) for the MSO’s customers on channels 14 and 200. Featuring hyper local news, politics, sports, traffic and weather, the service marks the 17th news network in Time Warner Cable’s stable.</p><p>Holding value as an acquisition vehicle and/or subscriber retention tool, Time Warner Cable customers in San Antonio will be able to access a continuous stream of TWC News San Antonio’s news and other video content on the free TWC TV and TWC News apps, as well as on <a href="https://mail.nbmedia.com/owa/redir.aspx?C=1cdfb5036300455293fc15d6caa2a0f8&URL=http%253a%252f%252ftwcnews.com%252f">TWCNews.com</a>, by signing in with their TWC ID usernames and passwords. TWC News video clips will be available to all TWC video subscribers. </p><p>The network’s viewers will be able to watch local news from 5 a.m. to noon with <em>News All Morning</em>, followed by <em>News All Day</em> until 7 p.m. and <em>News All Night</em> from 10:30 p.m. until 5 a.m.</p><p>To commemorate TWC News San Antonio’s launch, political program, <em>Capital Tonight,</em> will broadcast live on-site at 7 p.m. from the historic Arneson River Theatre located in the River Walk. <em>Capital Tonight</em> will air weeknights at 7 p.m. and feature exclusive interviews, debates and analysis focused on the political scene in Texas.</p><p>The network will feature hyper-local news, politics, traffic, sports, and “<em>Weather on the 1’s”</em> every 10 minutes. Additional TWC News segments will cover arts and entertainment, cooking, lifestyle and travel, technology and health and fitness<em>.</em></p><p>TWC News San Antonio joins other 24-hour sister networks in Texas, North Carolina, California and New York, including flagship network, TWC News NY1, and the Spanish language network, TWC News NY1 Noticias, in New York City.</p>
