HBO Max Wednesday revealed the official trailer for its much-anticipated special, Friends: The Reunion during its virtual upfront presentation.

The special, which debuts on the streaming service May 27, reunites the six stars of the iconic 1990s series -- Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry and David Schwimmer -- for a real-life, unscripted celebration of the show. The Friends comedy series ran on NBC from 1994-2004.

Friends executive producers Kevin Bright, Marta Kauffman, and David Crane serve as executive producers of Friends: The Reunion along with Ben Winston.

Netflix continues to add to its collection of library titles with the acquisition of 1990s comedy series Friends, the OTT service announced Wednesday.

Netflix will have access to all 10 seasons of the iconic Warner Bros./NBC series, starring Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry and David Schwimmer, said Network officials.

While the series is currently in syndication, it’s the first time all 236 episodes and 83 hours of  the Bright/Kauffman/Crane Productions-produced Friends series will be available on a streaming subscription service.

Friends will debut on Netflix beginning Jan. 1, 2015, said Netflix officials.

Lisa Kudrow's comedy series The Comeback is getting a second life on HBO.

The premium channel said the show, which ran a single season in 2005, will return as a limited series this fall. Production starts in Los Angeles this month.

The show will catch up with actress Valerie Cherish, a decade after she made reality-TV history by letting cameras record her attempt at a sitcom comeback at age 40. She wants another shot at fame. "Valerie thinks she has it all figured out this time. She doesn’t," HBO said in a release. "In the new episodes, Valerie continues her search to attain the spotlight, but this time around, it illuminates a whole new series of problems when she achieves the visibility she wants."

"The Comeback holds a special place in the hearts of its many fans, including many of us here at HBO,” Michael Lombardo, president of HBO Programming, said in a release. “I can’t wait to find out what Valerie’s been up to since we last met.”

“It was almost too fun play Valerie Cherish the first time around,” Kudrow said in the release. “I look forward to revisiting this resilient and ironically self-unaware character.”

The Comeback was created by Michael Patrick King and Kudrow. This season will be written by Michael Patrick King, Lisa Kudrow, Amy B. Harris and John Riggi. In addition to Kudrow, the confirmed cast includes Lance Barber, Dan Bucatinsky, Robert Michael Morris, Laura Silverman and Damian Young.
