Showtime’s <em>Homeland</em> drama series rounded out the top five shows for the night.</p><p>Fox’s World Series Game 5 telecast in which the Kansas City Royals defeated the New York Mets was the most tweeted sports event of the day, generating 1.2 million tweets viewed by nearly 7 million unique Twitter users, according to Nielsen.</p>
