Starz will continue to build on its Power universe with the September 1 second season rollout of Power Book IV: Force.

The series will continue to follow popular Power character Tommy Egan, played by Joseph Sikora, as he looks to conquer Chicago’s drug world after cutting ties in New York, according to the network. 

Power Book IV: Force also stars Isaac Keys, Lili Simmons, Shane Harper, Kris Lofton, Carmela Zumbado, and Manuel Eduardo Ramirez.

The series is executive produced by Gary Lennon, Courtney Kemp, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, Mark Canton, Terri Kopp and Chris Selak.

Power Book IV: Force, a Power spinoff centered on Tommy Egan as he cuts ties and leaves New York for Chicago, debuts on Starz February 6. Joseph Sikora plays Egan. 

“As Tommy leaves New York after losing Ghost, LaKeisha and the only city he's ever known, he makes a quick detour to close an old wound that’s been haunting him for decades,” said Starz. “What was supposed to be a quick stop turns into a labyrinth of family secrets and lies Tommy thought were long buried. The cast includes Isaac Keys, Lili Simmons, Gabrielle Ryan and Shane Harper. 

Power ran for six seasons. Power Book II: Ghost was introduced in 2020 and Power Book III: Raising Kanan in 2021.

Power Book IV: Force is executive produced by Courtney A. Kemp and Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson. The Power Universe series is executive produced by Kemp through her production company End of Episode, Jackson through G-Unit Film and Television, and Mark Canton through Atmosphere Entertainment MM. End of Episode’s Chris Selak, Shana Stein and Bart Wenrich also executive produce. Lionsgate Television produces the series. ■

The season four finale of Starz’s drama series Power set a season-high ratings record in Nielsen Live+3 ratings, according to network officials. 

The Sept. 3 episode drew 2.8 million viewers in Live+3 ratings, according to Nielsen. Overall, the series' season four drew 2.4 million viewers, the third most-watched premium series behind HBO’s Game Of Thrones (13.1 million) and Ballers (3.3 million), according to network officials.

Power, which stars Omari Hardwick, Lela Loren, Naturi Naughton, Joseph Sikora and Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, also finishes its fourth season as the top scripted drama in premium pay TV for 2017 among African-American viewers in total viewer ratings, said network officials.
