Jason Klarman Named President of Fox Nation

Jason Klarman has been named president of Fox Nation. He will retain his role as executive VP of marketing at Fox News Media, and will continue to report to Suzanne Scott, CEO of Fox News Media.

“Jason is a terrific, creative and collaborative executive who was instrumental to the launch of Fox Nation in 2018,” said Scott. “He has been integral to the platform’s success from its exceptionally high conversion rate to its low churn. We look forward to him elevating Fox Nation to new heights.”

“I’m excited to help take Fox Nation to the next level and build on its success over the last two years,” said Klarman.

He will oversee all operations, content and subscriber acquisition of Fox Nation, as well as the continued transformation to a lifestyle and entertainment service.

Cable industry veteran Jason Klarman has been named executive vice president of marketing for Fox News Media, the company said Monday.

In his new position, Klarman will oversee brand strategy for Fox News Media, which includes Fox News Channel, Fox Business Network, Fox News Digital, streaming service Fox Nation, Fox News Radio, Fox News Headlines 24/7 and Fox News podcasts, said the company.

Most recently, Mr. Klarman served as president of media consulting company Hashtag Media Ideas. Prior to that, he was the Chief Marketing Officer for Fullscreen Media.

Klarman, who was part of the team that launched Fox News in 1996, has served as a consultant to Fox News Media since 2018 and helped launch the network’s direct to consumer service Fox Nation.

“After welcoming Jason back into the Fox News fold last year to launch Fox Nation, he made an immediate and substantial impact across all of our businesses with his strategic approach to branding and wowed us with his creativity in the process,” said Suzanne Scott, Fox News Media CEO in a statement. “We’re thrilled to be collaborating with him once again.”

Multi-platform media company Fullscreen Monday announced the appointment of ex-Bravo executive Jason Klarman as its chief marketing officer.

As the company’s first CMO, Klarman will lead Fullscreen’s marketing strategy and operations, said company officials.

Klarman, who most recently served as president of consulting firm Hashtag Media Ideas, also served as president of Oxygen Media and executive vice president, marketing and digital at Bravo Media.

“Jason has a track record of connecting brands with passionate audiences who push the culture forward,” said Fullscreen Founder and CEO George Strompolos to whom Klarman will report. “He’s defined brands at the forefront of the media business, and as Fullscreen evolves into a consumer-facing media company, there’s no one more qualified at the helm.”
