The lineup of live TV sports events set for the Memorial Day weekend stars on the racetrack as  the 107th Indianapolis 500 revs up on Sunday.

NBC will televise the annual flagship IndyCar Series auto race Sunday afternoon from the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Nine former Indy 500 champions will compete in the race, including last year’s champion Marcus Ericsson. 

Also on Sunday, Fox will air the NASCAR Cup Coca-Cola 600 race, while ESPN carries the Formula One Monaco Grand Prix event. 

On the basketball court, the Miami Heat will look to close out the Boston Celtics in Game 6 of their NBA Eastern Conference Finals series on TNT. If the Celtics win, TNT will televise Game 7 of the series on Memorial Day.

On the ice, the Vegas Golden Knights will look to advance to the NHL Stanley Cup finals with a win against the Dallas Stars in Game 5 of their Western Conference Finals series on ABC. If Dallas extends the series to a Game 6, ESPN will televise the action on Memorial Day. 

In WNBA action, CBS on Saturday will televise the Connecticut Sun-New York Liberty game. 

On the pro football field, Fox Saturday will air the USFL game between the Birmingham Stallions and the New Orleans Breakers and FS1 will televise the Philadelphia Stars-Pittsburgh Maulers contest. On Sunday, USA Network televises the Houston Gamblers-Memphis Showboats game, while FS1 offers the Michigan Panthers-New Jersey Generals game. 

On the links, CW will air final round coverage of the Trump National LIV pro golf tournament, while CBS airs the Charles Schwab Challenge PGA tournament and NBC televises the Senior PGA Tournament.

On the soccer field, USA Network, Bravo, CNBC, Syfy and Peacock will team to carry all 10 of the Premier League's “Championship Sunday” schedule of games.

NBC on Sunday will televise the 106th running of the venerable auto race from the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. This year’s event will be highlighted by the appearance of NASCAR great Jimmie Johnson, who will compete in the IndyCar race for the first time.

Also on Sunday, Fox will televise the NASCAR Cup Coca-Cola 600 race, while ESPN airs the Formula One: Monaco Grand Prix race.

In the ring, Showtime on Saturday will distribute a pay-per-view boxing card headlined by the Gervonta Davis-Rolando Romero lightweight championship fight.

On the ice, the NHL Playoffs continue Saturday on ESPN as the Carolina Panthers look to close out the New York Rangers in game 6 of their second-round Eastern Conference Playoff series.

ESPN’s Sunday Night Baseball telecast originates from New York as the Mets host the Philadelphia Phillies. Peacock’s Sunday-morning baseball game features the Cincinnati Reds hosting the San Francisco Giants.

On the links, NBC and the Golf Channel will air final round coverage of the Senior PGA Championship, while CBS and Golf Channel will offer weekend coverage of the PGA Charles Schwab Challenge. On the tennis court, NBC and Tennis Channel will provide weekend coverage of the French Open.

ABC on Saturday will offer WNBA coverage as the Las Vegas Aces meet the Chicago Sky, while CBS on Sunday will televise the Phoenix Mercury-Atlanta Dream game.  

The USFL heads into its seventh week with three weekend games, including Saturday’s New Jersey Generals-Tampa Bay Bandits (USA Network) and New Orleans Breakers-Michigan Panthers (FS1) contests, as well as Sunday’s Birmingham Stallions-Pittsburgh Maulers (Fox) game. ■

NBC's telecast of the Indianapolis 500 race Sunday afternoon leads a busy Memorial Day weekend TV Sports schedule. 

NBC will begin its Indy 500 coverage at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway at 11 a.m. (ET) as more than 135,000 people are expected to attend 105th running of the auto race. Also from the motor track, Fox will televise the NASCAR Cup: Coca-Cola 600 race Sunday night. 

In other sports, Fox will take to the baseball field Saturday night with a primetime telecast of the Atlanta Braves-New York Mets game, while ESPN will offer Sunday’s Braves-Mets game as its Sunday Night Baseball telecast.

TNT, ABC and ESPN will continue its NBA Playoffs first round coverage over the three-day weekend. On Saturday, TNT will offer the Milwaukee Bucks-Miami Heat and Denver Nuggets-Portland Trailblazers games, while ESPN will air the Philadelphia 76'ers-Washington Wizards and Utah Jazz-Memphis Grizzlies contests. 

On Sunday, ABC takes over with doubleheader coverage of the New York Knicks-Atlanta Hawks and Phoenix Suns-L.A. Lakers series, while TNT offers coverage of the Brooklyn Nets-Boston Celtics and LA Clippers-Dallas Mavericks games. TNT will also televise Monday's 76'ers-Wizards and Jazz-Grizzlies games.

The NHL playoffs move into the second round Saturday with NBC’s coverage of the New York Islanders-Boston Bruins game, as well as Sunday’s Colorado Avalanche game against the winner of the Vegas Golden Knights-Minnesota Wild series. 

On Saturday night, DAZN will stream the Devin Haney-Jorge Linares lightweight championship fight while Showtime airs the Nordine Oubaali-Nonito Donaire bantamweight championship fight.  

On the golf front, NBC and CBS will air weekend coverage of the Senior PGA Championship and the PGA Charles Schwab Challenge, respectively. 

This weekend's live TV sports telecasts tip off Saturday with a full slate of NBA playoffs games tipping off on ESPN and ABC. ESPN will televise the Miami Heat-Milwaukee Bucks, Dallas Mavericks-LA Clippers and Portland Trail Blazers-Denver Nuggets games, while ABC airs the Boston Celtics-Brooklyn Nets game in primetime.

NBA first round playoffs coverage continues on Sunday, with TNT airing the Washington Wizards-Philadelphia 76’ers and the Atlanta Hawks-New York Knicks contests, while ABC televises the Los Angeles Lakers-Phoenix Suns game.

Major League Soccer games will air Saturday on ABC (LA Galaxy at Portland) and Sunday on Fox (Atlanta at Seattle) and FS1 (Austin at Nashville SC), while Premier League soccer games will air Sunday on NBC, USA Network and NBCSN.

ESPN and CBS will feature weekend coverage of the prestigious PGA Championship golf tournament. The tournament is the second of golf's four major championship events. 

NBC will continue its coverage of the NHL Playoffs with a Saturday doubleheader featuring the Pittsburgh Penguins-NY Islanders and Vegas Golden Knights-Minnesota Wild games. 

NBC will take to the track on Sunday with coverage of the USATF: Boost Boston Games track and field event. On the auto racing front, NBC and NBCSN on Saturday will telecast Indianapolis 500 qualifying races.

ESPN will offer ring action Saturday night with a fight card headlined by the Jose Ramirez-Josh Taylor undisputed junior welterweight championship fight. Also on Saturday, Showtime will offer the Bellator MMA 259 fight card featuring the Chris Cyborg-Leslie Smith featherweight championship rematch. 

ESPN’s Sunday Night Baseball contest features the Oakland A’s against the Los Angeles Angels.  

NBC Sports has secured the rights to the Indianapolis 500 auto race as part of a new, multi-year, multi-platform rights agreement with Indycar.

The deal, which begins in 2019, calls for broadcast network NBC to carry the Indianapolis 500 race, which has aired on ABC since 1965. In addition, NBC Sports will carry seven additional Verizon IndyCar Series races on NBC ,with all remaining races televised on NBCSN, said NBC Sports.

NBC Sports will also offer an IndyCar-based direct-to-consumer product through its NBC Sports Gold OTT franchise, said company officials.

“We’re excited to have NBC Sports serve as the exclusive home of IndyCar, which represents the most competitive open-wheel racing in the world,” said Jon Miller, president of programming for NBC Sports and NBCSN in a statement. We’re honored to bring the Indianapolis 500, one of the most prestigious events in all of sports, to NBC, further enhancing NBC Sports’ Championship Season.”
