                                <p>AT&T said it has reached an agreement to carry Altice USA’s international news and current affairs channel i24 News to its U-Verse and DirecTV subscribers.</p><p>U-Verse customers began receiving access to the channel on Nov. 18, with the service launching on DirecTV in the near future, the company said.</p><p>"We're thrilled to bring i24News' unbiased and unfiltered international and domestic news to U-Verse and DIRECTV lineups across the country,” said Altice news and advertising president Jon Steinberg in a press release. "With this agreement, i24News will be available in millions of additional households across the U.S., providing viewers with an independent voice in breaking news at a time when it’s never been more important.”</p><p>The channel is carried on Altice USA Optimum systems in the New York metro area and on its Suddenlink properties in the Midwest, Southwest and Southeast portions of the country. In November, <a href="https://www.nexttv.com/news/altice-usa-verizon-partner-on-local-news" data-original-url="https://www.multichannel.com/news/altice-usa-verizon-partner-on-local-news">Verizon Communications’</a> FiosTV customers began receiving i24News along with its News 12 and Cheddar news channels. </p><p>“AT&T is pleased to provide quality, around-the-clock news coverage to our DIRECTV and</p><p>U-Verse customers with the addition of i24News to the channel lineup,” AT&T chief content officer Dan York said in a press release.</p><p>AT&T U-Verse customers can find i24News on Channel 223 or 1223; once launched, it will be available on DirecTV on Channel 343. </p>

                                <figure class="van-image-figure pull-" data-bordeaux-image-check ><div class='image-full-width-wrapper'><div class='image-widthsetter' ><p class="vanilla-image-block" style="padding-top:56.25%;"><img id="gf3Hfc8wWEbGPM6fvgo2hW" name="" alt="" src="https://cdn.mos.cms.futurecdn.net/gf3Hfc8wWEbGPM6fvgo2hW.jpg" mos="https://cdn.mos.cms.futurecdn.net/gf3Hfc8wWEbGPM6fvgo2hW.jpg" align="" fullscreen="" width="" height="" attribution="" endorsement="" class="pull-"></p></div></div></figure><p>Charter Communications and Altice USA have agreed to carry their respective regional news networks, with Charter’s New York-centric Spectrum News NY1 channel available to Altice’s Optimum TV customers and Optimum’s i24NEWS Network debuting across Charter’s footprint today.</p><p>Spectrum News NY1 is available to Optimum TV customers in HD in Long Island, Westchester County and the Hudson Valley region in New York; Northern Bergen County and Morris County in New Jersey; and in Stamford and Bridgeport, Conn., as part of a multi-year agreement between the two providers. </p><p>“We are excited about the partnership with Altice USA, and believe it is the perfect complement to NY1’s commitment to deliver news that is essential to the daily lives of all New Yorkers,” Spectrum Networks SVP of operations and integration Dan Ronayne said in a release. “By expanding our distribution, we are now able to deliver NY1’s hyper-local coverage of New York City news, politics and transit beyond the five boroughs.” </p><p>With the deal NY1’s availability expands to more than 3 million Spectrum and Optimum TV households, on channel 98 in most areas. NY1 is also available in HD to Optimum TV customers in the Bronx and Brooklyn on channel 8.</p><p>As part of the agreement, Charter will launch Optimum’s i24NEWS across its footprint and News 12 Networks in its Western Connecticut systems. News 12 Networks is currently available to Spectrum TV customers in the New York area. The network launched in the U.S. in February with <a href="https://www.nexttv.com/news/altice-usa-looks-expand-content-reach-413030" data-original-url="https://www.multichannel.com/news/altice-usa-looks-expand-content-reach-413030">Altice USA</a>, Altice N.V.’s domestic cable operation.   </p><p>“Mediacom has always sought to offer a diverse menu of high-quality content in the markets we serve,” said Mediacom senior vice president of field operations Ed Pardini in a statement “We are excited to be able to provide our customers with access to news and information from the global viewpoint of <em>i24NEWS</em>.” </p><p>Package and channel location information for <em>i24NEWS</em> is being announced locally on a market-by-market basis as the network is launched.</p><p>“We are very pleased to provide Mediacom customers with a new destination for unique content that features localized news infused with the global conversation that consumers cannot watch anywhere else,” i24News CEO Frank Melloul said in a statement. “We look forward to our partnership with Mediacom and to becoming the go-to source for news and current events analysis for its viewers.” <br/><br/>Mediacom is the fifth largest cable operator in the country with about 1.4 million customer relationships mainly in the Midwest and Southeast.  </p>
