                                <p>T-Mobile is helping out customers trying to contact people in areas affected by Hurricane Matthew.</p><p>The company won't charge for calls or texts from the U.S. to areas including the Bahamas, Bermuda, Cuba, Haiti and Turks & Caicos. It is also waiving its roaming fees for calls or texts of its customers in those areas.</p><p>“Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone in the path of this powerful storm,” said T-Mobile President John Legere. “Please be sure to check on your loved ones.”</p><p>The offer is good through Oct. 7 and applies to prepaid and postpaid, as well as to MetroPCS, GoSmart Mobile and WalMart Family Mobile plans.</p>
