                                <p>Herring's One America News Network (OANN) and AWE (A Wealth of Entertainment), which have been authorized for distribution in Canada, have secured a master distribution agreement with the Canadian Communications Systems Alliance (CCSA), essentially Canada's version of the NCTC program buying cooperative in the U.S.</p><figure class="van-image-figure pull-" data-bordeaux-image-check ><div class='image-full-width-wrapper'><div class='image-widthsetter' ><p class="vanilla-image-block" style="padding-top:56.25%;"><img id="aTSDfKKM9FApSxw4rLg5km" name="" alt="One America Is looking to extend its reach to multiple Canadian distributors" src="https://cdn.mos.cms.futurecdn.net/aTSDfKKM9FApSxw4rLg5km.jpg" mos="https://cdn.mos.cms.futurecdn.net/aTSDfKKM9FApSxw4rLg5km.jpg" align="" fullscreen="" width="" height="" attribution="" endorsement="" class="pull-"></p></div></div><figcaption itemprop="caption description" class="pull-"><span class="caption-text">One America Is looking to extend its reach to multiple Canadian distributors </span></figcaption></figure><p>The CCSA agreement is basically a "hunting license" that allows Herring to try and sell its programming to the 100-plus video distributors in CCSA.</p><p>Herring Networks President Charles Herring tells Multichannel News that the agreement means CCSA will not only allow Herring to pitch its networks, but will work with it to encourage "consideration and deployment" by member distributors.</p><p>Herring says there are some restrictions to the affiliation agreements secured through CCSA, including that channels must be offered a la carte and there can be no minimum penetration or channel packaging and tying provisions in the agreements.</p><p>Herring says the company also retains OTT, digital and international rights to the networks, "giving us the flexibility to capitalize on emerging revenue sources and expand our services into Europe and other international markets.”</p><p>“Our sponsor, Ethnic Channels, was extremely helpful in guiding us through the CRTC process and educating us on the Canadian video market.”</p><p>Earlier in the year, OAN and AWE were authorized for distribution in Canada by the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC), which in turn paved the way for the master agreement.</p><p> </p>

                                <p>Herring Networks has reached an affiliate deal with Texas provider GVTC Communications for its news channel.</p><p>Under the pact, One America News Network will soon launch on GVTC systems on channel 50 in standard-definition and on high-definition channel 550.</p><p>GVTC serves a 2,000-mile region in the Lone Star State, covering areas in and around Boerne, Bulverde, Canyon Lake, Gonzales and sections of north San Antonio.  </p><p>"We're thrilled to give our customers more news choices by adding <em>One America News Network</em> to our channel lineup," said GVTC CEO Richie Sorrells. "One America is devoted to providing a credible source for national and international news around the clock."</p><p>"We're extremely pleased for the support extended by GVTC Communications in making <em>One America News Network</em> available to its customers and we're grateful for the broad distribution and the channel placement," noted Ann Schick, executive vice president of affiliate relations.  "GVTC customers will be able to easily find our news channel and we're confident that our programming lineup of national and international news, interactive talk shows, and current affairs programs will resonate well with GVTC customers."</p><p>One America News Network, a sister service to Herring’s A Wealth of Entertainment channel, also has affiliate pacts with AT&T U-verse, Verizon FiOS, Charter Communications and Century Link among other providers.</p><p>Launched on July 4, 2013, One America provides domestic and international news on a 24/7 basis.  In addition to external newsgathering sources, the network operates news bureaus in Washington, D.C. and California.  </p>
