Cablevision Systems Corporation has named Gemma Toner senior vice president, business insights and strategy. 

Toner will transition to the newly-created role from her current position as senior vice president of broadband product management, effective immediately. In her new role, Toner will be responsible for leading Cablevision's data and analytics strategy.

Toner has held numerous other leadership roles at Cablevision, including senior vice president of marketing and business development and senior vice president of high-speed data products.

As senior vice president, business insights and strategy, Toner will report to Brian Sweeney, President, Cablevision Systems Corporation.

Michelle Vicary, executive vice president of programming at Crown Media Family Networks

Kellie Grutko, vice president of marketing, at Comcast Spotlight
