Atlanta producer Stephen Glover has signed an exclusive production deal with FX Productions, the company said Wednesday.

Glover, who with his brother Donald developed the Emmy Award-winning FX comedy series as well as an untitled Marvel’s Deadpool animated series slated for FXX, will develop future television projects for FX Networks and other outlets, according to FX officials.

"We can’t wait to build on the success Stephen’s achieved as a writer and producer.” FX Networks and FX Productions co-president of original programming Eric Schrier said in a statement. “We appreciate everything Stephen has done to make Atlanta one of the best comedies on TV, taking an even bigger role with his brother Donald on the untitled Marvel’s Deadpool animated series, and now creating his own projects with the same uncompromising artistry.”

The Stephen Glover deal comes nearly a year after brother Donald signed a similar exclusive production deal with FX Productions.

FX Productions has signed Atlanta executive producer Paul Simms to an exclusive television production deal, the network announced Wednesday (July 12).

As part of the exclusive deal, Simms – who will continue to work on Atlanta – will develop, write and produce television projects exclusively for FX Productions. 

Simms has also written for The Larry Sanders Show, Flight of the Conchords, Girls, and NewsRadio, which he created.  

“We’ve had a great experience working with Paul on Atlanta,” said Nick Grad, co-president of original programming for FX and FX Productions in a statement. “Paul has a track record of success and we look forward to him developing new projects for FXP.”

FXX will bring back its comedy You’re The Worst for a third season and has signed series creator Stephen Falk to a deal to produce additional projects for FX Networks.

The series, which looks at modern love and happiness through the eyes of two people who have failed the achieve either goal, will air its third season in summer 2016, said network officials.

Falk will develop and produce projects for FX Networks and FX Productions as part of a multi-year deal between the producer and the company, according to FX Networks.

“Stephen is one of the best new talents in comedy - as funny, thoughtful and original as You’re the Worst and we can’t wait to see what he comes up with next,” said Nick Grad, co-president of original programming for FX Networks and FX Productions. “You’re the Worst, already one of the most critically-acclaimed comedies on television, is also one of the most innovative, something Stephen and the cast will continue in the much-deserved third season. The daring turn this season, led by the honest and respectful portrayal of Gretchen’s depression, was a very courageous move for a comedy and another milestone for You’re the Worst.”
