TMZ Hip Hop is coming to Fox-owned stations in 10 major markets: New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Philadelphia, Dallas, Houston, Washington, D.C., Seattle, Phoenix and Minneapolis.

The show -- which will be hosted by a panel composed of Amber Diamond, DJ Hed, Cynthia Luciette, Rodney Rika and Tonio Skits -- debuts Monday, April 11 and will run for four weeks. TMZ Hip Hop will also run on Fox's digital network, Fox Soul.

“TMZ Hip Hop is long overdue, and yet, right on time. We’re on the heels of what I’d argue is one of hip hop’s biggest pop culture moments -- Dr. Dre’s incredible Super Bowl halftime show -- which reminded the world how much the genre is beloved,” executive producer Charles Latibeaudiere said in a statement. “The fact is, it’s been that way for 30, almost 40 years … so, it’s beyond time for a show all about the personalities who’ve made hip hop a worldwide phenomenon. And, I have to say … this group loves talking about it, they have a lot of fun.”

Besides mothership TMZ, TMZ also produces TMZ Live, which airs on Fox-owned stations and some affiliates across the country. Last September, Fox acquired TMZ from WarnerMedia in a $50 million deal. TMZ itself features quite a bit of coverage of hip hop artists and their entourages.

Over the years, TMZ has produced spin-offs, such as TMZ Sports, which airs weekdays on Fox Sports 1, and prime-time specials and series, such as TMZ Investigates: Tiger King -- What Really Went Down? and OBJECTified, a 10-episode interview series that aired on the Fox News Channel.

TMZ Hip Hop is produced by TMZ Studios. Latibeaudiere is executive producer and Trent Clark and Jess Fusco serve as co-executive producers.

Looking to make noise as it fits its new crown as the lowest priced full service virtual MVPD, Vidgo announced today that it’s adding the full suite of Fox Corp. cable networks and local broadcast stations to its bundle.

The initial 15 broadcasts outlets include O&Os in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Philadelphia, Dallas-Ft. Worth, Washington, D.C., Atlanta, Houston, Tampa, Phoenix, Detroit, Minneapolis, Orlando, Charlotte and Austin. Start-up Vidgo said more local FOX stations are “forthcoming” to its $39.99-a-month base-tier “Core” package.

Also joining Vidgo Core are FoX News, Fox Business, FS1, FS2, Fox Deportes and Big Ten.

Network. Fox Soccer Plus is now available as an add-on.

“Adding Fox to Vidgo’s lineup delivers tremendous value to our customers at a very affordable price,” said Vidgo CEO Shane Cannon, in a statement. “Fox has consistently dominated television ratings year after year with some of the most watched sports, news, and entertainment on television.”

The addition of the Fox Corp. portfolio comes after Vidgo touted the addition of Disney networks, including ESPN and major-market ABC outlets, last week.

It also comes as Dish Network’s Sling TV, previously the leader among vMVPD’s offering the full range of channels, upped its base price to $30 a month. The full iteration of Sling TV, which includes both its “Orange” and “Blue” channel packs, is now priced at $45 a month.

Vidgo is streamable on Roku, Amazon Fire TV and Android TV OTT devices, as well as iOS and Android mobile tech.

In addition to the The Atlanta-based start-up to the usual limited-time free trial instant sign-up option, Vidgo is carving a market among recent immigrants without credit cards, offering pre-paid service through a national network of wireless stores.

The question now: How long can Vidgo, which lists only $500,000 in seed funding on its Crunchbase profile, keep up its current business model before it needs to raise prices?
