TV executive Jamie Horowitz is out as Fox Sports National Networks president effective immediately amid reports of sexual harassment allegations, according to published reports.

“Jamie Horowitz is no longer with Fox Sports effective immediately,” Fox Sports said in a statement released Monday (July 3). "There is no further comment at this time."

Horowitz’s departure comes less than a week after 21st Century Fox began investigating allegations of sexual harassment at Fox Sports and began interviewing women at the company about Horowitz’s behavior, according to the Los Angeles Times.

The Times also quoted Horowitz's attorney Patricia Glaser, who called Fox's treatment of Horowitz "appalling" and added that "any slanderous accusations to the contrary will be vigorously defended.”

Horowitz, the former ESPN and NBC Today executive, took over as president of Fox Sports National Networks in 2015 with oversight of national cable sports networks FS1 and FS2. During his tenure, Horowitz has placed a greater emphasis on opinion-themed, sports-centric talk shows as part of the networks' daytime block. Among his on-air hires were former ESPN personalities Skip Bayless and Colin Cowherd.
