Esquire Network will bring back its freshman drama series Spotless for a second season, the men’s-targeted network announced Wednesday.

The series, which follows two brothers who get tangled up with organized crime while operating a crime scene cleaning business, launched last year as the network’s first scripted series.

“Esquire Network proudly broke the genre barriers offering a series that combined elements of danger and drama with a sharp satirical edge,” said Matt Hanna, Executive Vice President of Original Programming for Esquire Network in a statement. “We are thrilled to once again partner with Tandem Productions and look forward to the wild ride of season two as we continue to gain momentum as a network and reach new heights.”

Male-targeted network Esquire will debut its first scripted series Spotless on Nov. 14, the network said Tuesday.

The series stars Marc-André Grondin (C.R.A.Z.Y.) Miranda Raison (24: Live Another Day) Denis Ménochet (Inglourious Basterds), and Brendan Coyle (Downton Abbey) and follows two estranges brothers forced to reconnect after the lives were torn apart by a terrible childhood secret, said network officials.

Spotless will mark the first scripted series for the NBC Universal-owned cable network.

Bravo, E! and USA Network are the latest networks to move to reporting only Live+3 ratings data for their shows, NBCUniversal Cable Entertainment announced Thursday during its Television Critics Association Winter press tour presentation.

The company announced it will only distribute Live+SD (same day) ratings – which has been the traditional measurement standard – for sports/entertainment, specials and event programming.

The move to Live +3 ratings for Bravo, E! Entertainment, Esquire Network, Oxygen Network, Sprout, Syfy and USA Network, follows similar moves from FX and HBO, which also have moved away from reporting Live +SD ratings for its shows. Those networks feel Live+3 ratings more accurately represent the amount of viewers watching a particular show given the increase in DVR, VOD and digital program viewing. 

NBCUniversal reports that a number of series have seen significant increases from L+SD to Live+3 ratings among Adults 18-49 including USA's Graceland (+83%); Bravo's Top Chef (+81%); Syfy's Dominion (+80%); USA's Royal Pains (+77%) E!’s “The Soup” (+65%).

 “Increasingly, Live+3 metrics are a more accurate reflection of the performance, appeal and reach of our networks’ original programs,” said Liz Mahaffey, EVP, Brand Strategy for NBCU Cable Entertainment in a statement. “Considering ever-growing use of DVR, VOD, digital and other non-linear viewing options, L+SD is merely a chapter in a much larger and more diverse ratings story.”

With Restaurant Revolution, Esquire Network will explore the chefs and restaurants behind America's culinary change. The special is set to air Nov. 12 at 8 p.m.

Featured chefs Wolfgang Puck, Tom Colicchio, Jonathan Waxman, as well as Esquire magazine’s "Best New Restaurant of 2014" feature will be profiled in the one-hour special. 

Produced for Esquire Network by Magical Elves, Dan Cutforth and Lane Lipsitz serve as executive producers.

NBCUniversal has restructured its cable portfolio, expanding the purview of Frances Berwick as the overseer of the newly formed lifestyle network group.

In her new position as president of the group, Berwick will add strategic oversight of E! Entertainment and Esquire Network to her current duties at Bravo and Oxygen Media. She will  continue to report to NBCU Cable Entertainment chairman Bonnie Hammer, who announced the reorganization that more closely aligns the lifestyle services with the way they are positioned in the marketplace.

As part of the changes, Suzanne Kolb is exiting her position as president of E!, ending a nine-year run with the entertainment service, including the last three at its helm. Adam Stotsky, president of Esquire Network, which was converted from Style in September 2013, also has been named general manager of E! and will report directly to Berwick in both capacities.

Berwick was appointed president of Bravo and Oxygen Media in September 2013 spearheading strategy and operations for both brands. She was named president of Bravo, which she joined in 1996, in 2010. Under her tutelage, it has become a top 10 cable network with over 550 hours of year-round original programming that reaches one of the most affluent audiences in television.

Over the years, she has overseen breakout original programming, including the popular “Real Housewives” franchise, Watch What Happens Live! and Emmy winners Queer Eye for the Straight Guy and Top Chef. Most recently, Berwick has the network poised to enter the scripted realm, with its first entry Girlfriend’s Guide to Divorce slated to debut in December, to be followed by the half-hour scripted comedy Odd Mom Out next year. 

In 2013, Berwick's role was expanded to include Oxygen Media where she is currently overseeing the network's rebrand, targeting young, multicultural women and scheduled to launch across all platforms on Oct. 7.

At E!, Berwick will be directly responsible for original programming and development aimed at buttressing viewership, strengthening the channel’s competitive positioning and extending its worldwide reputation as the multiplatform destination for all things entertainment.  

“I’ve been a huge longtime fan of E! from afar, so I’m really excited to now be part of the team,” said Berwick. “I have enormous respect for the brand leadership position they've built in entertainment news and celebrity culture.”

In his new role as general manager at E!, Stotsky gains oversight of daily operations, notably news, digital, marketing, communications, research and acquisitions. He will continue his duties as president, Esquire Network, with direct oversight of all areas of the network.   

“As a colleague of Adam’s for years, I’ve been impressed by his leadership skills and his ability to envision and define brands, from Syfy to NBC to Esquire,” said Berwick.  "The distinctive brand and impressive slate that he and his team at Esquire Network have built in a short period of time is remarkable.
