The new comedy series Benched, starring Eliza Coupe, is set to premiere October 28th at 10:30 p.m. ET, following Modern Family and Chrisley Knows Best.

‘Benched’ explores the fall of high-powered lawyer Nina Whitley (Coupe), as her dream of partner is denied, throwing her into the world of public defenders.

Nina freaks out when the announcement is made for partner, knocking things over and creating havoc. From a dynamic law firm to a public defenders office, she is left with the job of defending those who cannot afford legal help.

Starring Jay Harrington, Oscar Nunez, Maria Bamford and Jolene Purdy, she is forced to get close with her new coworkers, as well as her ex-fiance, the star of the District Attorney’s office.
