FloSports and Eleven Sports have agreed to air U.S. regional games from the Jr. NBA World Championship for boys and girls, the NBA said.

FloSports , a subcription OTT service, will live-stream coverage from six courts during the U.S. regional competitions, carrying more than 800 games on FloHoops plus FloSports apps on the Apple TV and Roku platforms.

Eleven Sports will air some of the U.S. regional competition on its Eleven Sports TV network.

“FloSports and Eleven Sports will tip off an exciting summer of Jr. NBA World Championship coverage in the U.S.,” said Kathy Behrens, NBA president, social responsibility and player programs.

“We are thrilled to bring the on-court competition to our fans, as elite boys and girls teams from across the country showcase the values of the game while competing for the opportunity to represent their region in our global event,” Behrens said.

The winning teams advance to the Jr. NBA World Championship in Orlando, Fla., Aug. 7-12. Fox and its cable colleagues will air the finals.

• Central Regional: Lawrence, Kan., June 8-10
• Midwest Regional Westfield, Ind., June 15-17
• South Regional: Frisco, Texas, June 15-17
• Mid-Atlantic Regional: King of Prussia, Pa., June 22-24
• Northeast Regional: Ardsley, N.Y., June 29-July 1
• Northwest Regional: Salem, Ore., June 29-July 1

The Jr. NBA presented by Under Armour is the league's youth basketball participation program. It is designed to provide a fun environment for kids to learn the fundamentals and values of the game. The Jr. NBA is focused on helping grow and improve the youth basketball experience for players, coaches and parents, and offers a free curriculum covering all levels of the game that includes 48 practice plans and more than 250 instructional videos featuring NBA and WNBA players.

Eleven Sports, the UK sports channel that purchased the distribution assets of One Word Sports last month, said it has added professional cycling to its lineup, with the rights to show select live events form the 2017 Ciclismo Cup.

Eleven Sports, which has networks in Europe and Asia, purchased One World’s U.S. distribution assets in March, giving it access to potentially 50 million homes through carriage agreements with AT&T, DiercTV, Charter, Verizon, and the National Cable Television Cooperative.

Eleven Sports will show 90 minutes of live coverage per day across six races of the Ciclismo Cup, beginning on April 17. The events to be covered are:

• April 17-21: Tour of the Alps
• September 13: Coppa Agostoni
• September 14: Coppa Bernocchi
• September 30: Giro dell’Emilia
• October 1: Gran Premio Bruno Beghelli
• October 3: Tre Valli Varesine

The races are produced by PMG Sport, distributed with Oneplayer and organised by the Italian League of the Professional Cycling.

Ciclismo Cup race winners so far this season include Adam Yates (pictured) of UCI WorldTour team Orica-Scott, and Diego Ulissi of UCI World Tour team UAE Team Emirates.

Eleven Sports, the UK sports channel thought to be circling around One World Sports, made it official Thursday, announcing that it has purchased certain distribution assets of the troubled network.

Terms were not disclosed.

One World had been on the ropes over the past several months, after one suitor unexpectedly backed away from a deal for the network, which forced it to furlough much of its staff.

Eleven Sports is owned by global investment company Aser and its founder, Italian investor Andrea Radrizzani, who also is the founding partner and vice chairman of MP & Silva, an international sports rights company. Through Aser Radrizzani purchased 50% of second tier UK Championship League team Leeds United.

Eleven Sports launched in 2015 as a linear and streaming sports service and according to its website has launched multiple channels across select markets in Poland, Belgium, Luxembourg, Singapore and Taiwan. The company says it offers live coverage of sports events from around the world, analysis, digital content and local programming. In a statement, Eleven Sports said that with the deal, the channel is now available in 50 million homes in the U.S through carriage deals with AT&T, DirecTV, Verizon, Charter, the National Cable Television Cooperative and others, though the network's actual subscriber count would be a much smaller number than 50 million.
