                                <p>Some 64 million people watched the second presidential debate Sunday. CBS led the way with 16.5 million total viewers, good for a quarter share of all the audience. The service includes popular networks such as ESPN, CNN, AMC, Comedy Central, Bloomberg Television and more and is <a href="https://www.sling.com/devices.">available on TVs, tablets and computers.</a></p><p>In addition to the debate, free preview viewers can also watch the NFL Monday Night Football matchup between the Atlanta Falcons and New Orleans Saints on ESPN.</p><p>“Sling TV is synonymous with live television, and whether America craves pigskins or politics, these two events on Monday night represent the pinnacle of must-see-live TV,” said Sling TV CEO Roger Lynch in a statement. “This preview is one hundred percent free and gives all Americans the opportunity to watch the first Presidential debate and more; I can’t think of a better night to welcome new Sling TV viewers to experience our service.”</p><p>Monday’s debate between Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump and Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton is expected to be one of the most watch political scrums ever. The Monday debate, scheduled for 9 p.m. ET at Hofstra University in Hempstead, N.Y., is the first of three scheduled discussions between the candidates. The other two debates are slated for Oct. 9 at Washington University in St. Louis and for Oct. 19 at the University of Nevada in Las Vegas.   </p><p>According to Sling, no credit card or payment will be required for the preview – only a valid e-mail address is needed. Overall, the debate is currently the fourth most-watched Republican debate so far during the 2016 political season.<br/><br/>The debate, moderated by Bret Baier, Megyn Kelly and Chris Wallace and featured some heated rhetoric mostly from presidential candidates Donald Trump, Maro Rubio and Ted Cruz, also drew 5.5 million viewers in the adult 25-54 demo.<br/><br/>A special post-debate <em>The O'Reilly Factor</em> last night (11 p.m.-12 a.m.) delivered 7.4 million viewers, marking the show’s highest-rated telecast of the year.<br/><br/>The debate was also a hit on social media, generating 2.3 million tweets reaching a unique audience of 8.6 million Twitter users, according to Nielsen Twitter TV ratings.<br/></p>

MSNBC was in third with 1 million viewers and 243,000 in the demo, according to Nielsen.</p><p>FNC was also tops in total viewers with its coverage of the Nevada caucus earlier in the day with 1.6 million viewers to CNN's 1.1 million. But CNN was tops in the demo with 297,000 to Fox's 225,000.</p><p>Fox was also tops in New Hampshire primary coverage.</p>

                                <p>CNN will convene a panel of 40 voters at Drake University's Cowles Library in Des Moines, Iowa, Sept. 16 to gauge reaction to the second Republican Debate, which the news channel is airing from the Reagan Presidential Library in Simi Valley. Calif.</p><p>Iowa holds the nation's first presidential caucus Feb. 1.</p><p>Drake is already set to host a Democratic presidential TV debate on Nov. 14, to be hosted by CBS news in conjunction with KCCI-TV and the <em>Des Moines Register</em>, as well as two candidate events focused on minority issues, the Brown and Black forum, Dec. 3 for Republicans and Jan. 11, 2016, for Democrats.</p>
