Turner Sports said it plans to launch its new Esport video-game competition show, the ELeague, on May 24.

The first tournament will be covered live over 10 days from Turner Studios in Atlanta. The first competition will feature Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, the game from Valve.

Coverage will run on Turner digital platforms with a three-hour Friday-night showcase on TBS, starting at 10 p.m. ET.

Turner Broadcasting System will team with WME/IMG to launch an eSports competitive gaming league featuring the popular video game Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, the network said Thursday morning.

As part of the deal, Turner and WME beginning in 2016 will deliver competitive gaming events for all platforms including live fan experiences, exclusive coverage of e-gaming events on TBS, according to network officials. TBS will air 10 consecutive weeks of programming twice per year airing Friday nights on TBS.

The first game featured as part of the deal is Valve Corp.’s Counter-Strike: Global Offensive game (pictured), according to Turner, which will use its Atlanta studios to house eSports competitive gaming, including serving as the home for the new league.

A Digital content of the deal will also include behind-the-scenes event coverage and profiles on the eSports teams and competitors, with additional eSports coverage available through Bleacher Report’s Team Stream App.
