                                <p>IFC will end its scripted series <em>Comedy Bang! Bang!</em> this fall after five seasons on the air, the network announced Thursday.</p><p>The series, starring host Scott Aukerman, will air its last 10 episodes beginning Oct. 28, with the series finale slated for Dec. 10, said network officials.</p><p>"<em>Comedy Bang! Bang!</em> has been an incredibly important show for IFC. Over five seasons and more than 100 episodes, Scott Aukerman has been a comedic force who has meant so much to us," said Jennifer Caserta, IFC president in a statement. “We are proud to celebrate 'Comedy Bang! Bang!' across this final 10-episode send-off and appreciate everything it has meant to IFC." </p><p>Guest stars appearing in the series’ final episodes include: Malin Akerman (<em>Billions</em>, <em>Childrens Hospital</em>), Mike Colter (<em>Jessica Jones</em>, <em>The Good Wife</em>), Kaley Cuoco (<em>The Big Bang Theory, The Wedding Ringer</em>), singer-songwriter Ben Folds, Gillian Jacobs (<em>Love, Community),</em> Allison Janney (<em>Mom</em>, <em>Masters of Sex</em>), Jason Mantzoukas (<em>The League</em>, <em>Dirty Grandpa</em>), Haley Joel Osment (<em>The Spoils Before Dying</em>, <em>Entourage</em>), Chris Parnell (<em>Saturday Night Live</em>), Krysten Ritter (<em>Jessica Jones</em>), Adam Scott (<em>Parks & Recreation</em>), Paul F. Tompkins (<em>BoJack Horseman</em>, <em>Bajillion Dollar Properie$</em>), Matt Walsh (<em>Veep</em>), and the return of former co-host Reggie Watts (<em>The Late Late Show with James Corden</em>).</p>

Bang!</em> for a fifth season, the network said Tuesday.</p><p>The series, hosted by comedian and podcaster Scott Aukerman, has received an order of 20 new half-hour episodes that will debut in 2016.</p><p>“Scott has created an absurd world that attracts the biggest names in pop culture,” said Jennifer Caserta, IFC president in a statement.  “They show up, do insane things and oftentimes come back for more.  We have no idea how he does it, but we’re not about to start asking questions now.”</p>
