Sportsman Channel Canada is now available on Bell, Shaw, Videotron and smaller providers throughout the provinces, having launched on Sept. 14, Outdoor Sportsman Group Networks said in a release. 

“Outdoor Sportsman Group is extremely excited to welcome our neighbors to the north with programming that encapsulates the heritage and traditions of the Canadian people,” CEO Jim Liberatore said in the release. “Creating a network in Canada was a natural progression for our business and we couldn’t be happier that Sportsman Channel Canada has launched.”

The channel is a partnership with Canada's Outdoor Group Media, which in 2016 launched World Fishing Network Canada, now rebranded as Sportsman Channel Canada. Programming will expand beyond fishing shows after the conversion, a spokesman said. In the U.S., Sportsman Channel, Outdoor Channel and World Fishing Network are all owned by Outdoor Sportsman Group Networks, which also owns online pay service MOTV.
