Erin Miskey has been promoted to vice president, production and operations, Bravo Media.

"In her new role, Erin will lead day-to-day production operations for all Bravo original programming, including Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, The Real Housewives Franchises and MDL NY & LA, among many others," David O'Connell, executive VP, production and operations at Bravo Media, said in an internal announcement today. "She will also continue to oversee all post production for all series as well as digital projects on behalf of our group."

Miskey, who reports to O'Connell, started at Bravo as a production coordinator in 2005 in New York, moved to Los Angeles to work at Evolution Media and then returned to Bravo in 2008 as a manager with the production and operations team.

Her credits include producing the original Watch What Happens online series, Bravo said.

Bravo Media has named Noah Samton senior VP of current production.

Samton, previously VP of current programming at Truly Original, will lead a team overseeing unscripted series including The Real Housewives of New Jersey, Don’t Be Tardy and Summer House, plus the upcoming Relative Success With Tabatha Coffey and Stripped.

He will report to Shari Levine, executive VP of current production at Bravo, part of NBCUniversal, and will be based in New York.

“Noah has a proven track record of delivering high-quality unscripted content across multiple brands,” Levine said.

Bravo Media will tap into the growing mobile viewing trend by streaming the premiere of Après Ski via the Shazam app ahead of the show’s debut on traditional TV.

Après Ski, a luxury travel series that follows the concierges of an elite tourism company, will debut as an in-app stream via Shazam on Monday, Nov. 2, two weeks ahead of its network debut on November 2 at 10 p.m. ET/PT. Bravo said this is the first time Shazam has debuted a full TV episode prior to its run on the network.

Bravo said the show, set at a posh resort in Whistler, British Columbia, will also be available before its network debut in the same window via its TV Everywhere apps and on MVPD VOD platforms.

Additionally, on-air promos featuring the Shazam logo will prompt viewers to open the Shazam app to unlock a “custom experience” that also contains the full premiere episode. Shazam will also host targeted banners aimed at driving users to a custom landing page within the app.

Season two of Bravo Media's, Thicker Than Water, with the Tankard family is set to premiere Jan. 4 at 9 p.m.

Bravo Media has named Shari Levine executive vice president of Current Production, Bravo.

Levine has been promoted from her previous position as senior vice president of Current Production, where she oversaw the expansion of the Real Housewives franchise and helped launch series such as Shah's of Sunset and Southern Charm. She joined Bravo as vice president of Original Programming.

"Shari is one of the creative visionairies behind many of Bravo's hit series," said Jerry Leo, executive vice president, Program Strategy, Bravo and Oxygen Media. "Our shows have a 'Bravo sheen' which is due to Shari's passion and dedication in making high quality original programming." 

NBCUniversal cable networks E! Entertainment and Bravo will pay tribute to the late Joan Rivers this weekend.

E!, which over the past 20 years was home to various shows and specials with Rivers --  who died at age 81 on Thursday following complications from throat surgery, -- will honor her legacy with a one-hour E! News special, Joan Rivers: Celebrating An Icon, on Friday, Sept. 5 at 9 p.m. (ET/PT).

The special will be hosted by E! News’ Jason Kennedy and Catt Sadler, who will be joined throughout the hour by George Kotsiopoulos, Ken Baker and other members of the E! on-air family who knew Rivers. The one-hour show will include highlights from Rivers' career, including a look back at her early days, and at the tremendous outpouring of love and support from fans known as “Joan’s Rangers."

Among the events that will be showcased: her breakout performance on The Tonight Show and her own foray into the late-night daypart on Fox, her Emmy Award-winning daytime talk show and E!’s venture into snark couture, Fashion Police.

For its part, Bravo will encore Rivers' last appearance on Watch What Happens Live on Sunday, Sept. 7 at 11:30 p.m. (ET).

Rivers, on the July 29 show hosted by Andy Cohen, touted Fashion Police, as well as her new book, Diary of a Mad Diva, when she was shown with Maksim Chmerkovskiy of Dancing with the Stars fame.

“Every single time Joan walked into the clubhouse, I got goosebumps,” said Cohen.
