Tom Selleck drama Blue Bloods returns for season 14 Friday, February 16, and that will be the final one. The two-part season ends in the fall. 

Blue Bloods, about the Reagan family in New York and its long history of working in law enforcement, premiered in 2010. Selleck plays the New York City police commissioner.

Donnie Wahlberg, Bridget Moynahan, Will Estes, Len Cariou, Marisa Ramirez and Vanessa Ray are also in the cast.  

Goldberg was an executive producer on the show. Formerly the 20th Century Fox president, ABC’s head of programming and a CBS Corp. board director, Goldberg died in 2019.

On Fridays, the show averaged 9.54 million viewers in 2022-2023, and more than 11 million with live +35 day multiplatform viewing, CBS said.

CBS has ordered season 14 of drama Blue Bloods. Tom Selleck stars in the show, about the Reagan family in New York with a long history of working in law enforcement.

Blue Bloods premiered in fall 2010. Airing Fridays at 10 p.m., the show averages 9.5 million viewers, CBS said, and 11 million in terms of live-plus-35-day multiplatform viewing.

Cop drama Blue Bloods is getting season 13 on CBS. Tom Selleck, Donnie Wahlberg and Bridget Moynahan are in the cast.

The show averages 9.81 million viewers, according to CBS.

CBS has renewed dramas NCIS, Blue Bloods, Magnum P.I., Bull and SWAT. “What do these shows all have in common? They are all...RENEWED,” CBS said on Twitter. 

NCIS will enter season 19. Short for Naval Criminal Investigative Service, NCIS has Mark Harmon as Special Agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs. 

Blue Bloods is in season 11. A drama about a multi-generational family of cops in New York, it has Tom Selleck as police commissioner Frank Reagan.

In season three, Magnum P.I. has Jay Hernandez as a private investigator in a Tigers cap, chasing down bad guys in Hawaii. 

Bull, with Michael Weatherly as Dr. Jason Bull, will see season six. The show is inspired by the early career of Dr. Phil McGraw, founder of a prolific trial-consulting firm. 

SWAT will see season five. Shemar Moore plays a former Marine and S.W.A.T. sergeant running a tactical unit that is the last stop in law enforcement in Los Angeles. 

Season five of action drama MacGyver, season three of detective drama Magnum P.I. and season 11 of multigenerational cop drama Blue Bloods return to CBS Friday, Dec. 4. 

The dramas join other CBS series in starting their season in a year that has seen production upended due to COVID. Dramas NCIS, All Rise and FBI, among others, have begun their new seasons, as have comedies The Neighborhood, The Unicorn and Young Sheldon, among other sitcoms. 

Lucas Till and Tristin Mays star in MacGyver. 

Jay Hernandez and Perdita Weeks are in Magnum.

NATPE has named executive producer Greg Berlanti (Arrow, Flash), Telemundo and NBCUniversal International chairman Cesar Conde, award-winning actress Jane Fonda (Grace and Frankie), TBS and TNT president Kevin Reilly, and award-winning actor Tom Selleck (Blue Bloods) as recipients of the 15th Annual Brandon Tartikoff Legacy Award.

They will receive the prestigious award at a special reception on Wednesday, Jan. 17, 2018, at the Fontainebleau Miami Beach, Fla.

The Brandon Tartikoff Legacy Award is presented each year during the annual NATPE Miami Market and Conference, which will next take place under the new theme “A Changing Industry in a Changing World,” Jan. 16-18, 2018, at the Fontainebleau & Eden Roc hotels in Miami Beach.

“Each of the Tartikoff honorees is a leader in their field and a legend in the industry," said Andy Kaplan, president of Sony Pictures Television Networks and chair of NATPE. "We are thrilled to celebrate the substantial achievements of Greg Berlanti, Cesar Conde, Jane Fonda, Kevin Reilly and Tom Selleck at this year’s event in Miami."

The 2018 Tartikoff Legacy Award recipients are recognized for exhibiting their extraordinary passion, leadership, independence and vision through their diverse work in being a part of the creation and distribution of content for the world’s traditional and digital marketplaces. Named in honor of Brandon Tartikoff, one of the most esteemed programmers in the history of television, the Award was created to acknowledge a select group of television professionals who have demonstrated the highest degree of excellence in their field.

“These five extraordinary individuals have had such distinct, significant impacts on the entertainment industry,” said Lilly Tartikoff. “In choosing to honor those with careers defined by the same zeal and dedication that Brandon held dear, this event continues to be one that he would have found so meaningful.
