VH1 Friday said it would debut two specials revolving around its Black Ink Crew franchise in March leading to the April debut of the Black Ink Crew: New York series.

The specials for the franchise -- which follows the exploits of African-American owned tattoo parlors in Harlem, Chicago and Compton -- include the two-part Black Ink Crew: Secrets Unlocked (premieres March 15), which brings together fan favorites from all three cities virtually to celebrate almost 10 years of the franchise.

The three-part Black Ink Crew: Confessions special debuts March 29, and features the casts of all three series as they fill in the gaps and update fans on what has happened since last filming their respective seasons, according to VH1.

AMC’s anthology horror series The Terror: Infamy and OWN’s drama series David Makes Man tops the list of scripted series debuting during the week of Aug. 12 to Aug. 18.

The Terror: Infamy, debuting Aug. 12, will focus on a series of bizarre deaths that haunt a Japanese-American community, and a young man's journey to understand and combat the entity responsible, according to the network.

OWN’s Aug. 14 premiere of David Makes Man -- produced by Alivn McCraney (Moonlight) follows a 14-year old African-American male who focuses on education as an escape from a turbulent home life, according to the network.

On the reality front, Paramount on Aug. 18 will premiere a documentary on the life of actor Patrick Swayze dubbed I Am Patrick Swayze.
