                                <p>Streaming video service Hulu has acquired the first five season of truTV’s variety sketch series <em>Billy On The Street</em>, both companies said Thursday.</p><p>Hulu beginning July 10 will begin streaming all 42 episodes from the first four seasons of the series, which features comedian Billy Eichner quizzing unsuspecting people on the streets of New York City, according to network officials.</p><p>Season five of <em>Billy On The Street</em> will debut later this fall, and Hulu will stream all of those episodes once the season finishes its run.</p><p>“As an incredibly popular and creatively-inventive show in truTV’s portfolio, <em>Billy on the Street</em> has cultivated a passionate fan base that actively seeks out the show and embraces Billy’s unique comedic talent and obsession with pop culture,” said Chris Linn, president of truTV in a statement. “This partnership with Hulu gives us a great opportunity to both super-serve those existing fans and also introduce the show and our network to new audiences.”</p>

The series stars comedian Billy Eichner, who surprises everyday people on New York City's with quick-witted, rapid-fire questions about pop-culture.</p><p>In addition, the network announced that it has ordered additional 14 episodes of freshman investigative comedy <em>Adam Ruins Everything</em> hosted by series creator and comedian Adam Conover.</p>

"No other media company has the assets and the reach—especially among Generation X, Millennials and Generation Edge viewers—to pull off this kind of multi-layered deal. The Turner networks are going to be the perfect home for Billy's brilliant comedic talents and his growing legion of young fans."<br/></p>
